Theresa Anne Payne Bio
My name is Theresa Anne Payne, I am 32 years old, and I have been a teacher for eleven years. I have taught grades three through seven. I am currently teaching sixth and seventh grade math. I earned a Liberal Arts Degree in 1996 and a K12 Clear Credential in 1998 from Cal Poly Pomona. I completed my masters degree in Reading at Cal State Fullerton in 2006. I have been happily married for six years to my wonderful and supportive husband Mark. He and I currently teach for the same middle school in Tustin and we have an adorable and very active two year old son named Jeffrey. We are expecting another baby in June. As a teacher, but especially as a mother, I feel very strongly about the value of education in reading and the role we all play as life-long learners.
